The Electoral Commission is calling on people to register to vote ahead of the local and European elections next month.
Monday 20 May is the last possible date for people to register to vote in time for the elections on 7 June.
People can register to vote on checktheregister.ie or by filling in the relevant form at their local authority.

That was more people that registered or updated their details in the previous 15 months.
